Who we are
TURSAM INVESTMENTS LIMITED is an Agribusiness-Food processing enterprise founded on the 1st day of March 2009. Tursam Investments limited is an agribusiness food processing enterprise which was established in 2013 and incorporated on the 15th of June 2015, under Reg.no 202853 by registrar of of companies.
We produce purely fruit juice drinks from our locally grown fruits namely; mangoes, bananas, pineapples. Our fruit juice is branded UHURU FRUIT DRINKS® We are already working with fruit farmers in Mubuku irrigation Scheme, kasese district in the Rwenzori region that supply us fruits, farmers in Mbale district, kiboga district, Buikwe district and other regions. By getting fruits from the framers themselves, we are assured of reliable, sustainable and consistent supply of raw materials. We support our farmers with seedlings, organic fertilizers, and advance payments for managing the farms. Since its inception, our Enterprise has been experiencing a steady growth in sales of approximately 50% annually due to the demand of natural fruit juice on the market and traditional need of banana juice(omubisi/Eshande) as locally known in Buganda and Ankole regions respectively. In fact our fastest selling product is Banana fruit juice. We are number one company in Uganda that produces banana juice on a large scale with a production capacity of one tonne (1,000 literes) per day! We use a minimum of 100 bunches per day to get the 1000 litres of banana juice.

We are providing nutritious products to school-going people, young professionals and middle income earners, offering natural and high value content.
We capitalize on abundance of cheap rich fruit in Uganda to provide to the community natural nutritious healthy fruit drinks.
OUR MARKET
We sell our products both on local and regional markets. All Quality supermarket branches in Kampala, Mega Standard supermarket-Down town kampala, Standard supermarket in kampala old Taxi park.
We export our products to Rwanda, Kenya and DRC, with Rwanda taking 70% of the exported products. Most Supermarkets in Kigali have UHURU FRUIT DRINKS
The Latest
”We add value and our products help reduce on agricultural post-harvest losses thereby increasing value gain for our locally grown fruits which would otherwise be sold off cheaply at farm gate prices or left to rot from the gardens” says Sam . This improves on farmers’ income from the sell of these fruits.
At Tursam Investments we are inspired to transform society and Communities through empowering the youth, the women and all local farmers. We inspire the youth to explore the art of value addition to help raise income and the quality of locally produced goods.
